In April 2027, The New Inn's Chef Patron, Alex, will be running the London Marathon on behalf of Blood Cancer UK, in honour of his Grandad, Francis, who passed away in 2025 after a 20 year long battle with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia.

We are humbly requesting help from anybody who is able and willing to give it, to support Alex on his journey and help to provide valuable research into better treatments and care for those living with blood cancer, and save lives across the country.
